Freie Shell Accounts
Kracknet.net lebt scheinbar wieder.
The KrackNet Communications Free Shell project is designed to teach people about the power of the UNIX Operating System by providing FREE UNIX Shells (remote terminals) to the public at no cost at all. KrackNet has a strong belief that information should be free. FREE as in FREEDOM.
KrackNet, founded in 1999 was at the center of a thriving UNIX underground community as a free shell hosting provider that then merged with HBX Networks [defunct]. This scene has gone away. We thrive to provide awesome services for free; we just want the underground to return.
We are proud to announce that in early 2008 the Kracknet group decided to open the project of Free Shells back to the public!
Mit der Shell gibts unter anderem ne Mailadresse, ein public_html Verzeichnis, irssi, gcc/g++ und Perl.
Ein uname -a gibt mir
FreeBSD blue.kracknet.net 8.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 8.0-CURRENT #2: Fri May 2 23:04:04 EDT 2008 root@blue.kracknet.net:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/BLUE i386
Einen Account bekommt man sofort nach einem Connect mit new@shells.kracknet.net Passwort new.
Da rootshell.be recht unnoetige Userlimits hat und seit ner Ewigkeit tot, finde ich das ne nette Alternative und Shells kann man eh nie genug haben

Wie ist meine IP?
Ab und an braucht man dann doch mal auf die schnelle seine eigene IP Adresse im Netz.
Das einfachste ist meist irgend eine Seite wie meine-ip.de aufzurufen. Mir steckt da ehrlichgesagt auf den meisten zuviel Werbung und Zeug, deshalb hab ich mir ip.oark.org aufgesetzt.
